This 707-HP Jeep Wrangler is an absolute monster, it is named the Trailcat. The engine in this bad boy is the same Hellcat V8 engine that has been used in both the Dodge Challenger and the Dodge Charger for years. The engine has always been nothing short of powerful and ridiculously fast, but now it has been taken to a new level. The Trailcat was specifically made for and introduced at the annual Easter Safari in Utah.
Besides the insane engine in the Trailcat, some added features include: bucket seats from the Dodge Viper (for added safety), a custom shift knob with the Hellcat logo, rock rails, and LED headlights. Jeep also had to increase the wheelbase 12 inches over what it is in a standard wrangler, just to be able to fit the Hellcat engine in there.
The Jeep will reach 60 mph in 4.2 seconds, and can reach up to 170 mph, which for a Jeep is insane. No doubt, this vehicle is terrifying and all kinds of hazardous. But as Jeep fans, let’s all admit we would love to drive it. We are sure it will quickly adapt to the nickname “helljeep.”
The release date for the 2016 Trailcat has yet to be leaked, as well as the price. However, it is rumored that despite all the craziness of this Jeep, it will still be sold for an affordable price for what it has to offer.
Keep an eye out for this Jeep at Hollywood Chrysler Jeep after the release date has been announced.
