Jeep has had close ties to the armed service since its origins as a military vehicle 75 years ago in 1941. Aside from historical ties, Jeep pays tribute to the U.S. military and its members in a number of ways, including participating National Military Appreciation Month.
Each submission to #MyJeepStory is a contribution to the USO
To participate in National Military Appreciation Month, for the entire month of May Jeep is making a donation to the USO for each #MyJeepStory submission entered on Jeep.com. Additionally, this month’s features stories include U.S. veterans and military members.
Memorial Day Discounts and Incentives
To celebrate Memorial Day, Jeep is also offering national incentives on all of their vehicles, and there is a $500 Memorial Day Bonus Cash offer for anyone who purchases a 2016 Jeep Cherokee.
Aside from this month’s efforts, Jeep makes donations and participates in causes, events and offers discounts for current or former military members year-round.
Jeep Military Incentive Program
All active, active reserved, retired military, retired military reserve or honorably discharged veterans (within 12 months of discharge date), are eligible for up to $500 in Military bonus cash towards leases or purchases on 2016 new vehicles under the Jeep Military Incentive program.
Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Freedom Edition
For those who want their ride to be as patriotic as their hearts, Jeep has created the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Freedom Edition and a portion of the sales of each Freedom Edition vehicle is donated to the USO. The special-edition trim features one-of-a-kind details like distinctive silver accent stitching, “Freedom Edition” badging and leather-trimmed seats that are embroidered with the logo of Oscar Mike, a clothing company that helps veterans stay active.
